Team Forkpah has donated US$250 to the Zeyeama Clan Youth to support an upcoming entrepreneurship, and capacity-building training.
The Team Forkpah Chairman, Peter Tarnue Woyea, presented the money to Emmanuel Wolobah, President of the Zeyeama Clan Youth.
The presentation was held in Konia, Lofa County.
The financial support is to strengthen the youth to organize the entrepreneurship-focused training.
The training seeks to equip young people with practical skills, and knowledge to become more self-reliant, and economically productive.
The planned training is to focus on business development, financial management, innovation, and other practical entrepreneurial skills that could help participants identify, and pursue sustainable economic opportunities.
Woyea said, Team Forkpah recognizes the important role young people play in the development of their communities.
He stressed the need to invest in youth-led initiatives to create opportunities for young people. He encouraged them to take an active role in addressing challenges in their communities.
Woyea also urged the leadership to use the fund strictly for it intended purpose.
Wolobah expressed appreciation to Team Forkpah for a timely contribution toward the youth empowerment.
He assured the donors that the money will be used for its intended purpose; supporting efforts to empower young people with practical, hands-on skills in entrepreneurship.
The initiative comes amid growing calls for increased investment in youth empowerment through skills development, entrepreneurship, and leadership programs.
For Team Forkpah, the US$250 contribution represents a continued commitment to support initiatives that promote youth development.
