We Call For Civility in Nimba Senatorial By-election

The residents of Nimba County are expected to go to the polls on April 22, 2025, to elect one of their sons or a daughter to replace their late Senator, Prince Y. Johnson, who departed this world late last year having exhausted his earthly journey.

The senatorial by-election obviously remains the heart of the county given that it requires someone who will represent them at the Upper House courageously and wisely as was in the case with their Late Senator, Prince Johnson whose memory remains in their minds flaming.

About seven individuals are in the race; a race which is witnessing the political dust splashing in almost every corner of the Nimba Land.

Indeed, it’s a race that can’t and shouldn’t be equated to a child’s play, which consists of those activities performed for self-amusement that have behavioral, social, and psychomotor rewards.

This race is not one of child-directed, in which the rewards come from within the individual child.

It’s a race that will mirror Nimba’s political future in terms of unity, peace and county reconciliation.

It’s a race that requires high degree of political maturity, especially at a time when Nimba is striving to gain a greater political space in national politics.

It’s not a race just for power greed, because this cohort of greedy β€œactive politicians” are so powerful as to control the minds of most of the citizens; and

most importantly, this cohort of greedy politicians manipulate the populous with social issues to gain favor and holiday in power..

It is a race to see Nimba united peacefully. It’s not a race to satisfy one’s fumbling political ambition. It’s not a race to usher someone in a comfortable political master bedroom.

Rather it’s a race that Must and Should see Nimba enthroned in a comfortable political seat at the House of Senate.

Against this background, we caution all contenders in the race to exercise restraint to the highest degree and be guided by maturity as the exercise progresses.

We use this medium and petition all in the race to place Nimba’s interest first and foremost, a gesture which is fundamental in politics. Let them avoid violence, let them avoid toxicity; brutal invectives, but to remember that our forebears have envisaged a united Nimba, a peaceful Nimba and a Nimba that’s regarded a greater political hub where politicians usually gallop for power.

Let each contestants face the race with the sense of being their brothers’ keepers as opposed to being their brothers’ haters.

Winston here from Iowa. I’m always watching for new sites and looking at older ones and thought I’d reach out to see if you could use a hand driving targeted traffic, automating repetitive tasks, or some good old fashioned bulk targeted outreach campaigns to lists I already own.

I’ve been doing this for over 20 years β€” building sites, editing videos, crafting bulk email campaigns (I even provide the targeted lists as I mentioned), running traffic, creating custom software, fixing and optimizing WordPress sites, I’ll even pay for any plugins you might want/need. If a solution exists, I’ve probably built it or bought it β€” and if I haven’t, I will for your project. I’m happy to shoulder 90% of the cost with tools, lists, licenses, and tech I already own.

All I ask is a flat $99/month for my time, month to month β€” no catch. I don’t mean to impose, I just wanted to offer real help if you’re open to it.

Quick background: born and raised in the Midwest, married, three girls. If I can support them by helping you using everything I’ve built over the years, that’s the kind of win-win I can imagine. It still amazes me how few people actually help the way I do β€” and I’d love the chance to show you.

If you need anything at all, just ask, doesn’t cost anything to do that.

P.S. – If I missed something you might need help with, just ask. I only scratched the surface here.

    All the best,

    Winston
