Counselor Charlyne M. Brumskine has pledged US$10,000 to the opposition Liberty Party.
The money is to construct a proposed new headquarters in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.
The Party now seeks to rebuild its own structures, and project greater unity ahead of the evolving political landscape.
Charlyne made the commitment during the Party rebranding program. It was attended by party officials and supporters.
The event was presented as an effort to renew it political identity, and strengthen organizational presence.
The pledge is expected to contribute to a proposed headquarters reportedly estimated at US$400,000.
The facility will be completed within one year, and will serve as a center for political, administrative, and organizational activities.
The new headquarters, when completed, may provide a physical symbol of renewal, but it cannot by itself resolve political divisions, or competing interests in the party.
