A lady (not named) was accused of using feces, locally called pupu to promote the sweetness of her pepper-soup rice.
The rice is regularly sold around the commercial hub of Red-Light in Paynesvillle, outside Monrovia.
The lady was suspected of mixing feces (pupu) with peanut butter to promote the taste of her pepper-soup rice.
She was arrested on Monday, October 5, and subsequently whished off to the Zone-9 Depot-1 police station after been exposed by one of her customers.
The customer, according to report, discovered her mixture of using pupu, and peanut butter for her daily pepper-soup rice cook-bowl sales. An act associated with enchantresses, or witches.
Eyewitnesses recalled how they have interacted with the lady on several occasions as customers.
They also disclosed how the lady has been selling for several months, and even confessed the eaten of her food, which has been sold for say, L$100 and L$150.
Rice and peanut butter pepper soup L$100 up, and the price of meat is L$20 for a piece the ‘pupu meat.’
It has also been alleged that the suspect tried to bribe a young guy, who reportedly discovered her actions with L$10,000, but later found out she had only L$4000.
The matter is still being investigated by officers of the Police.
