An elderly woman, identified as Hawa Flomo was on Saturday, April 26, 2025, reportedly killed in the 72nd Community of Paynesville, outside Monrovia around the football field.
One prime suspect a (Zogo) has been identified as a 22-year-old drug addict, only known as ‘Kezo.’
Eyewitnesses confirmed that ‘Kezo’ a notable Zogo, allegedly smashed the head of his victim with a rock, after dragging her out of the house to the front porch.
The incident, bystanders said it happened around 10 p.m. Saturday, April 26, when everyone, including neighbors had gone to watch a soccer match in a video club.
Some concerned residents said the suspect home came late that fateful evening. Noticing that no one was around except the little children, he allegedly murdered the old woman, taking advantage of her age.
Police investigation suggested that the suspect, a drug addict (Zogo) had on previous occasion been caught in gangsterism and consumption of dangerous substances to include narcotics.
One account (not named) admitted hearing a loud sound from a neighbor yard, but he arrived on the scene, he met the suspect with a rock in his hand, but was afraid to intervene.
Police have meanwhile arrested the suspect to undergo prosecution.
