President George Weah has again put smiles on the faces of local marketers in Western Liberia.
The Liberian leader did so when he dedicated a new market building in Gbarma, Gbarpolu County.
President Weah giving dignity to local marketers removed them from mix shift hut to a solid concrete bulling .
The new building colored dominant yellow and green unlike before contains over twenty tables, two bath rooms, flush toilet with shower and warehouse respectively.
Speaking during the dedicatory ceremony, the Liberian leader encouraged the local marketers to maintain their new facility.
He said the construction of the new market facility is his way of giving back to his people.
Very appreciative, the happy marketers shower praises on President Weah for taking them from grass to grace. They promise to maintain the new facility.
Jacob Mitchell, Project Coordinator, said the initiative under the auspices of the Special Presidential Project was implemented by the Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE) in fulfillment of one of President Weah’s promises to the people of Gbarma during the County Tour in 2021 in Gbarma, Gbarpolu County.
