Smartly dressed in a nice blue coat suit with white shirt and black board to march, a result oriented and people centered Leader, Success Minor was inducted into office as the new President of the Mid West Chapter of the Association of Liberian Journalists in the Americas (ALJA)

At a well-organized ceremony in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the United States of America, the former Financial Secretary General of the Sports Writers Association of Liberia joined other professional colleagues to be sworn into office in order to begin official duty for that professional media body.

His induction followed his recent overwhelming and popular election victory over his competitor.

The Former District Number Thirteen Representative Aspirant in Montserrado County who was given a two year mandate by his professional colleagues to steer the affairs of that body promise to live up to the confidence repose in him by them.

Success, a vocal leader and a team player told the gathering at the induction ceremony that he will seek the welfare of his colleagues to the core.

“We will work as one team and together we will achieve the desire results expected of us” President Minor”, assures his colleagues.

Speaking further, he said his new leadership has come to add more value and flavor to ALJA with the overall goal of making that media body much more vibrant and second to non across the sector.

The diligent and astute Liberian journalist very passionate to lead will now serve his colleagues at the highest level in his sector for the next two years.

It can be recalled Mr. Minor who slows down his legislative ambition for personal reasons continues to make his impact felt across all spectrums of the society.

Currently, he is continuing his scholarship programs within District Thirteen, Montserrado County.

Additionally, Mr. Minor is empowering women and youths in the district with vocational and skills Training programs including other self-help developmental initiatives intended to transform the District, County and Country in general.

He reminded the audience that he remains committed to change the narratives for the Mid West Chapter of ALJA in the best interest of the body with passion and commitment.

Poised to commence work soon along with his other inducted colleagues the young and professional Liberian journalist assures his colleagues that he will work along with his team to help transform the Midwest Chapter of that media body.

He named transparency, accountability, Good Governance, inclusiveness, equal opportunity, membership welfare, sound advocacy and capacity development as key areas of priority for his new leadership for the next two years.

Mr. Minor who is closely following the ongoing political activities in Liberia urged residents of his district and Liberians in general to see peace as the ultimate and chief cornerstone towards the forward march of the country.

He wants the decisions that Liberians will make on October 10, 2023 to be a true reflection of the change that the people of Liberia deserve.

Meanwhile, those inducted into office include Success A. Minor, President, Lassana Bamba, Vice President, James Bleetan, Secretary General and Lisa Dahn , Financial Secretary  General.
