Sethi Brothers Extols Firefighters
Sethi Brothers Inc. has raised praises on personnel of the Liberia National Fire Service (LNFS) for their promptly responding to a fire that broke out late on December 6 at the company’s Iron Factory branch in Gardnersville, outside Monrovia.
Fortunately, the incident, which occurred in an auxiliary area of the facility, did not result in any loss of life or injuries to team members or nearby residences.
In a press release, Sethi Brothers stated that the LNFS contained the fire swiftly, preventing it from spreading, and significantly mitigating potential damage. The company explained that the structure affected by the blaze was not a primary storage facility, allowing for a quick assessment of the situation without jeopardizing critical operations. “We are immensely relieved that no lives were lost and that all our team members and the surrounding community remained safe throughout this emergency,” the release noted.
“We extend our profound commendation to the Government of Liberia and particularly the Liberia National Fire Service for their rapid, courageous, and highly professional intervention,” the company added.
The company lauded the LNFS’s tireless efforts, emphasizing that their dedication during this distressing time was invaluable in averting a more catastrophic outcome. In light of the incident, Sethi Brothers has pledged to cooperate fully with relevant authorities to determine the cause of the fire.
The company is also committed to enhancing preventive measures to avoid similar occurrences in the future.
As the investigation begins, the community and stakeholders are reminded of the importance of fire safety and the vital role that emergency services play in ensuring public safety and property protection.
The release further that the company remains focused on rebuilding and reinforcing safety protocols as they move forward from this unfortunate event.
