Rep. Kpoto Introduces Five Bills At Legislature

Lofa County Electoral District #3 Representative, Momo Siafa Kpoto, has introduced five bills at the Legislature. These bills introduced by the lawmaker include an act creating the Gondorlahun Township and provide for the Government of same within the Republic of Liberia, an act creating the Township of Zerwordamai and provide for the Government of same within the Republic of Liberia, an act creating the Township of Lawalazu and provide for the government of same within Voinjama District in Lofa County, Republic of Liberia. An act creating the Township of Lukasu and provide the Governance of same within Lukanbeh District in Lofa County, Republic of Liberia, an act creating the Township for the Government of same within Kolahun District in Lofa County, Republic of Liberia. This instrument, immediately upon receipt of it, the committee set to work by first engaging the sponsor, Rep. Momo Siafa Kpoto, followed by Co-Sponsors, Rep. Julia Wiah, Rep. Thomas P. Fallah and other lawmakers. These engagements were met firstly, to ascertain whether members of the caucus were aware and also in support of the idea as proffered by Rep.Kpoto. The bills introduced by the lawmaker if passed into law will be in the interest of the citizens of Lofa County. Representative Kpoto, since his election at the Legislature, has been working in the interest of the citizens of Lofa County. The Chief of Office Staff to Rep. Kpoto, Emmanuel Krovah, disclosed  at the Capitol Building that within less than eight months, the lawmaker has made lots of interventions in Electoral District #3, Lofa County.  According to him, Representative Kpoto means well for the citizens of Lofa County Electoral District #3.  The lawmaker has reportedly built the Gaiyea Bridge linking Kolahun Central and Hanbeh Clan. The bridge project is estimated at US$25,000, excluding labor cost.  Mr. Krovah disclosed that recently, the lawmaker provided about 1.5million to boast education across the district. According to him, from the 1.5 million, L$500,000 was intended for college education. He further explained that Representative Kpoto is also concerned about the healthcare and educational needs of his citizens. As a way of helping his people to have access to good roads, the lawmaker also reportedly bought earthquake machine worth about US$65,000.
