NIMBO Mobilizes Grassroots Support

By Peter Kollie

The National Movement for Boakai (NIMBO), Kolahun District Chapter, has held a day-long strategic meeting to strengthen its grassroots structures, and mobilize support for President Joseph Nyuma Boakai 2029 bid.

The meeting, held in Kolba City, brought together local coordinators, youth and women leaders from across Kolahun District.

The gathering was led by NIMBO Kolahun District Coordinator, Peter B. Harris, who emphasized the importance of establishing a strong, united, and inclusive leadership structure.

A key focus of the meeting was the organization, and strengthening of the chapter’s leadership team to ensure effective representation in towns and clans.

Harris: “A well-organized grassroots structure is essential to communicate government’s development agenda to local communities, and expand the movement’s presence in Lofa County.”

Harris argued that Boakai deserves a second term. He cited the administration promotion of transparency, improves road connectivity, support agriculture, and restores Liberia’s international image.

He urged members to remain active in their communities, and promote government’s ARREST Agenda.

“NIMBO seeks Pres. Boakai’s re-election in 2029, and we must remain active on the ground to protect the gains and promote the ARREST Agenda in Lofa.”

Other participants pledged to intensify grassroots mobilization by engaging community members, traditional leaders, and youth groups to strengthen NIMBO’s presence throughout the District.
