LEC Inspires Hope In Louisiana Township

The installation of LEC high-power transformers have inspired hopes amongst residents of central Fendell in Louisiana Township.
In 2025, the Liberia Electricity Corporations installed two transformers at the advantage of the community to make connections for households current.
But the people of the community have since been struggling over the year to get electricity despite being part of the map out exercise of LEC.
Community Chairman Josiah Zou said the community leadership was assured by the Management of LEC that the community will be electrified before the end of 2026 Christmas’ festivals.
He also noted that residents of central Fendell are eager and ready to get power supply with full compliance with LEC.
Most household electrical appliances are damaging gradually due to the lack of current situation in the area, Chairman Zou indicated.
