LATSVSI Calls For Support

Zokerseh B. Saye, Executive Director of the Liberia Anti-Trafficking, Scam and Victims Support Initiative (LATSVSI), has called for urgent support to the institution.

Saye also appealed to government, local and international NGOs, and civil society organizations to support the institution in her effort to combat human trafficking and scams.

The fight against human trafficking, and scheme, Saye said, require sustained awareness, resources, and collective action.

He emphasized the need for adequate funding and logistical support.

Without the support, he said, it will be increasingly difficult for the institution to reach vulnerable communities, and carry out the needed campaigns to protect citizens.

Over the past months, LATSVSI has actively worked to expose scams, support victims, and raise public awareness about the dangers of human trafficking and fraudulent activities.

However, the institution says, it efforts lacked financial and material resources.

Saye expressed concern of young Liberians falling victim to trafficking networks and scams, often losing their hard-earned money, and in some cases, being exposed to exploitation.

He has meanwhile, appealed to all stakeholders to stand with LATSVSI in the fight.
