Joint Security Dispatches Special Elections Investigative Team To Grand Cape Mount
The Joint Security responsible for election security has constituted a Special Investigation Team on Election Violence to investigate election violence cases during the pending elections. The team, named, “Special Election Violence Investigation Team,” has been dispatched to Bambala District, Grand Cape Mount County, to investigate the reported shooting incident of yesterday, which left one person injured.
According to a release from the Joint Security, the team will speak with local authorities and eye-witnesses in establishing the facts of the incident to ensure that those culpable face justice.
The Joint Security has also dispatched a response team from the Police Support Unit and Emergency Response Unit to restore law and order and ensure calm in Bambala, Grand Cape Mount County.
Meanwhile, the Joint Security has urged the public to remain calm, as the Special Joint Security Media Team will provide regular updates.
The Joint Security warns citizens and residents to desist from engaging in violent activities. The Joint Security will not hesitate to deal with anyone who attempts to undermine the peace and stability of the state.
