The House Restaurant
At House Restaurant, tucked along the lively Airfield Shortcut in Monrovia, I didn’t just go to eat, I went to feel something different.
I walked in, the space felt alive, yet calm. Soft lights filled the room, the kind that makes you slow down without realizing it. The chairs were gentle and comfortable, almost like they were asking you to stay a little longer.
Music played quietly in the background cool, smooth, and easy on the ears. Everything was clean, fresh, and peaceful. It felt like a place where worries take a short break.
The waiter came with a warm and respectful attitude simple, polite, and present. Nothing forced, nothing rushed. Within 10 to 15 minutes, my tacos arrived, and somehow, that short wait made the moment even better.
Then came the first bite:
The tacos meat was soft, juicy, and full of flavor. Not too much, not too little just right. Each bite felt warm and satisfying, like something made with care. It didn’t try too hard to impress, yet it did. The taste stayed gently, making you want another bite without even thinking.
What made this experience special was not just the food, but how everything came together the calm environment, the good service, the soft music, and that simple but beautiful plate of tacos. It felt like a quiet escape in the middle of a busy city.

Conclusion:
House Restaurant is not loud, not crowded, not overwhelming. It is simple, calm, and real. It gives you good food and a good feeling at the same time.
And sometimes, that is exactly what you need. I commend them with a two and a half spoons (2.5 Spoons).
