Front second ‘Terrible, Gruesome’ -LNP Terms Dead Missing 7Yr- Old Minor’s Situation

The Liberia National Police Crime Investigators have termed as terrible gruesome, the recent discovery of a seven- year- old child who went missing and later discovered dead in the Greenhill Community in Kakata, Margibi County. According to Police Superintendent James Kartoe, LNP investigators received tipped off from the victim Beatrice Hani parents that their daughter has gone missing and needed police intervention to help trace their missing child.   After couples of days in search of Beatrice, the Margibi County Crime Services Department Commander acknowledged that with the help of community dwellers, little Hani was discovered dead with suspicion of fouls play. The Margibi County LNP CSD Commander said LNP investigators have launched investigation into the matter and vowed to prosecute any suspect involving into the case.

According to him, there is no report of any arrest, but several names have been submitted to the police and those individuals of concerns have been processed and investigation is ongoing to determine their link to the case.  It can be recalled that little Beatrice Hani on Friday, January 19, 2024 left her parents’ Greenhill residence and went for church choir practice after returning from school and since her departure, she did not return home until she was discovered dead Monday, January 22, 2024. She was discovered dead – laying in a swamp with her hands and legs broken, and other body parts attracted.  After thorough LNP investigation, the lifeless body of the seven- year- old minor was turnover to her parents for preservation, awaiting further investigation into the matter.
