Dr. Benedict Kolee, a prominent Liberian pathologist, has commended government for transforming the health sector in recent years.

Dr. Kolee gave the commendation as a significant endorsement of healthcare initiative at the Lutheran Curren Hospital.

He made the remark when he received the Healthcare Practitioner of the Year 2026 Award from a group under the banner “Excellent Media Incorporated.”

The ceremony was hosted at a resort in Monrovia on Monday, June 22, 2026.

“I want to extol the Boakai Administration for its commitment to improve healthcare for all. The Administration has achieved a remarkable progress, not only in healthcare, but in various sectors contributing to national development. The results are becoming evident, as citizens now feel the impact in many areas.”

Kolee highlighted government’s robust efforts to enhance healthcare delivery systems, increase access to medical services and strengthen health institutions.

He stressed the need for continuous investment in healthcare to ensure favorable health outcomes for the nation’s populace.

Dr. Kolee spoke of the crucial need for collaboration among government officials, healthcare practitioners and development partners to sustain the momentum of progress.
