A group of suspected criminals reportedly broke into the compound of Grace Baptist Church, and School on Tuesday, September 8.
The robbers carted several valuable items belonging to both the church, and the school.
The incident has disrupted activities at the institution, and raised concerns among church, and school authorities over the security of their facilities, and property.
The suspected perpetrators, according to information, entered the compound, and reportedly stole several items, including projectors, a generator, plastic chairs, food, cooking utensils, and other property.
The stolen items are considered important to the daily operations of the institution, with some reportedly used for educational, administrative, religious, and other activities.
The situation took another turn when one of the suspects reportedly returned to the compound on the night after the break-in, allegedly attempting to take away additional items that remained at the facility.
However, security personnel subsequently detected the individual, and swiftly apprehended him before he could leave the premises with the remaining property.
The suspect was subsequently turned over to officers of the Liberia National Police (LNP), where he is expected to face questioning as part of an investigation into the reported burglary.
