CNDRA Begins County Tour

Center for National Documents and Records Agency Director General, D. Nelson Bearngar, departed Monrovia for the western region of Liberia on Thursday, May 2, 2024, for a three-day assessment. The purpose of the tour is to familiarize the Director General with staff members and gain an understanding of the problems at the local CNDRA facilities. It is anticipated that DG Bearngar will conduct an inspection of the National Archives offices and cultivate amicable working relationships with staff, stakeholders, and county officials. The Director General’s delegation will tour Gbarpolu, Bomi, and Grand Cape Mount Counties. Jeremiah Zarwie, the outstation coordinator; Kaipee Luther Newray, the director of public affairs, press, and communication; Nenkarmah Gonkartee, the administrative assistant; Carinton Sahn, the driver; and Ogison Mark Zeah, the security, are among the delegation members. According to a release, Director General is traveling to the western region to ascertain first-hand information on the condition of the National Archives facilities in the region. He will also seek suggestions from employees, stakeholders, and county officials on how to improve service delivery under the rescue mission. Recently, the Center for National Documents and Records Agency Director General and team visited the agency’s offices in Sanniquellie, Nimba, and Bong.
