Boakai, Koung Lauded …. Agriculture, Good Road Network Planned Priorities
President Joseph Nyuma Boakai and Vice President Jeremiah Kpan Koung have been applauded by a group of populous micro-finance loan enterprise known as the Bukonjadeh Group of Companies for their administration’s expressed plans to resuscitate the nation’s agricultural sector and make pliable or accessible. Registering his company’s commendation to the Liberian leader and his vice President to journalists at the Central Office in Monrovia, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company, Elton Datee Johns, pointed out clearly that it is not surprising over statement reportedly made by President Boakai during his State of the National Address (SONA) that his regime will prioritize agriculture and good roads network because the President understands the agricultural sector very well, having served as Agriculture Minister and Managing Director of LMPC respectively in the past. Mr. Johns asserted that the President’s vow to revive the sector deserves lot of appreciation because if the sector is improved, Liberia will become self-sufficient in food production and will no longer rely solely on the outsiders.
