GTMS LIBERIA INC. DISOWNS “FAKE” APPOINTMENTS
-Warns Public Against Impersonation
In a release circulated in Monrovia yesterday afternoon, the Management of Global Tracking & Maritime Solutions Liberia Inc. (GTMS Liberia Inc.) has noted with concern the purported appointment of Mr. Presley S. Tenwah as General Manager-Liberia and Mr. Elvis D. Johnson as Public Relations Executive & Operations Manager; appoitments allegedly made by one Sahr H. W. Ngegba, who purports to be a Director of GTMS Liberia Inc.
GTMS Liberia Inc. says it categorically denounces the purported appointments. And clarifies that: Sahr H. W. Ngegba is not associated with GTMS Liberia Inc. and does not appear in its corporate structure, staff register, or list of authorised officers. “No such position as ‘Director’ is held by him within our organisation.”
According to the release, GTMS Liberia Inc. is neither a subsidiary nor in partnership with GTMS-UK, a company that has been wound-up and currently undergoing liquidation in the United Kingdom. We are entirely separate and distinct entities.
Furthermore, the release continues, these actions are a brazen attempt to mislead the public and to use the name and reputation of GTMS Liberia Inc. to shield a UK entity now under investigation by British authorities for alleged administrative failures and serious financial irregularities.
GTMS went on to caution the general public, its valued customers, and business partners to
not transact any business whatsoever with Messrs. Presley S. Tenwah and Elvis D. Johnson in the name of GTMS Liberia Inc.
“Their so-called appointments were issued by a person with no authority to act on behalf of this Company. They are impostors. Any dealings with them will not be recognized as binding on GTMS Liberia Inc.”
As a precaution, the release said, GTMS Liberia Inc. has instructed the Global Lead Counsel of AFDASA Global to immediately commence civil and criminal proceedings against Messrs. Tenwah and Johnson, accusing them of falsely representing themselves as officers of GTMS, misleading the public, and causing significant operational disruption and reputational harm.
In closing, GTMS says it will pursue all available legal remedies to protect their name, stakeholders, and the public.
