The Office of Bong County Senator Johnny K. Kpehe, has highlighted the development efforts, and community engagements since he assumed office.
Kpehe Office dismissed criticisms that he has been absent from development activities of the county.
Sen. Kpehe’s Chief of Office Staff, Gondai K. Seton, said, the lawmaker has remained committed to serve the people since he was elected in the 2023, and subsequent assumed office in 2024.
Seton said, Sen. Kpehe has launched a countywide engagement initiative to visit all electoral districts between May and December.
He explained how the tour intends to bring the senator closer to locals, gather concerns from communities, and identify key areas requiring development attention.
The engagement process will help Kpehe to gain firsthand knowledge of the challenges facing residents, and allow future projects to be aligned with the priorities of local communities.
Seton noted that a planned visit to Sanoyea District in July was postponed due to scheduling conflicts, but assured residents that the district remains part of Kpehe’s planned consultations.
He said, Kpehe continues to participate in community programs, traditional events, and other public activities.
“Sen. Kpehe has maintained close contact with the people, and continues to engage communities across the county.”
Seton highlighted Kpehe’s development priorities, including planned interventions in the health sector,
the construction of an ambulance hub expected to begin in November.
Seton assured the district that Sen. Kpehe will continue engaging communities throughout his tenure, with the goal to ensure that development programs respond to the needs, and expectations of residents.
