I Cried When I Arrived

0 2

When I arrived, I bitterly cried.

When I arrived, I tearfully cried.

When I arrived, the world looked so dark.

When I arrived, I saw droves of sharks.

When I arrived, I saw satanic marks.

When I arrived, I saw endless sinking sand.

When I arrived, I heard a satanic marching band.

When I arrived, I knew I was in the wrong hands.

When I arrived, I immediately felt far from home.

When I arrived, I saw the devil seated on the throne.

When I arrived, I knew I was in the enemy’s zone.

When I arrived, I suddenly began to feel pain.

When I arrived, I saw the world wrapped in sin.

When I arrived, I saw darkness in every heart.

When I arrived, I saw peace being suppressed.

When I arrived, I saw conflicts spreading everywhere.

I continue to cry because of what I first saw.

I continue to cry because of the sins I have seen.

I continue to cry because of the evils I have seen.

I continue to cry because of the conflicts I have seen.

I continue to cry because of the suffering I have seen.

I continue to cry because of the enemy’s zone around me.

I continue to cry because joy has become so scarce.

I continue to walk through the sinking sand.

I continue to hear the satanic marching band.

Yet I will not surrender my faith.

Though darkness surrounds the earth,

the light of God still shines.

Though evil marches with pride,

righteousness will have the final victory.

I may have arrived in a broken world with tears,

but I shall depart with hope,

for God’s kingdom will forever reign.
