The newly appointed authorities at the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) River Gee County detachment have confirmed the arrest of four Liberian nationals.
The agents also seized a consignment of Kush, tramadol, and a home-grown marijuana valued at L$908,780 from the suspects.
The accused individuals were apprehended during separate operations in Gbeapo Statutory District.
In an August 2026 operational report, the Agency released, the coordinated arrests took place in Joquiken, and Kanweaken communities, and targeted both street-level possession, and suspected distribution networks.
The operations were led by Acting County Commander, Emmanuel S. Masseh.
The largest seizure came from a woman identified as JoJo Madison, 39, alias Mama Wou.
Officials say, Mama Wou was found with 166 grams of Kush, 13 strips of tramadol, and 40 wraps of marijuana.
The Agency placed the street value of her haul at L$778,480.
Three other men were arrested on separate dates: Emmanuel Bokarie, 35: Arrested August 26, near the Gbeapo Kanweaken District Health facility.
Officers say, Bokarie was in possession of 13 wraps of Kush, 12 wraps of marijuana, and a quantity of tramadol valued at about L$4,300.
Paul Gbeadeh, 46, was arrested on August 5, with 20 strips of tramadol valued at approximately L$110,000.
Emmanuel Jayswen, 21, was also arrested on August 5, in Kanweaken with two strips of tramadol, and nine pills, with an estimated value of L$16,000.
LDEA said, all four suspects were processed in connection with possession, and distribution of controlled substances.
The defendants have since been forwarded to the Fish Town Magisterial Court to begin legal proceedings.
LDEA has meanwhile, urged residents of Joquiken, Kanweaken, and surrounding towns to report suspicious drug activity to local authorities.
