When a Man Lies About Being Single, Walk Away
Honesty is the foundation of every relationship. When a man lies about being single, he not only disrespects the woman he deceives but also undermines the values of trust and dignity that hold society together.
Pretending to be available while secretly committed elsewhere is more than dishonesty—it is bad manners of the highest order.
The danger of such lies is clear. A woman who believes she is building a genuine relationship may later discover that she was misled, wasting her time, emotions, and even her reputation. This betrayal leaves scars that are difficult to heal. Worse still, it can destroy families, cause conflict, and erode the moral fabric of communities.
Why Do Some Men Lie?
Often, it is pride, selfishness, or the desire for temporary pleasure. But no matter the excuse, the act reveals weakness of character. A man who hides the truth about his status shows that he cannot be trusted with responsibility. He may gain attention for a moment, but he loses respect forever.
The “national touch” here is simple: women must value themselves enough to walk away from deceit. If a man lies about being single, leave him. Do not compromise dignity for empty promises. By refusing to tolerate dishonesty, women send a strong message that respect and truth are nonnegotiable.
The future implications are profound. A society that tolerates lies breeds broken homes and mistrust. But a society that demands honesty builds stronger families, healthier relationships, and a culture of respect.
Lying about being single is not clever—it is cowardly. And the best response is clear: leave him. Because no relationship built on lies can ever stand on the foundation of truth.
If he can lie about that, he can lie about his girlfriend being his sister, and his biological child, an orphan.
