Weah Completes Voting Process, Certain Of Reelection By: Julius Konton
Dressed in a white suit obviously symbolizing peace, candidate and incumbent, President George Weah early morning hours made his way to the Kendeja Public School to exercise his democratic franchise. Weah flanked by his wife, Mrs. Clar M. Weah, Son Champ Weah among others took few minutes to complete their voting process under a heavy media presence. Speaking following the casting of his vote, he encouraged Liberians to turn out in their mass to make a decision in the interest of the Country. Weah who looked so relax and confident told the media that he is certain of a win due to his tangible works done over the years. As former Peace Ambassador, The CDC’s Standard Bearer frowns at electoral violence and warned all Liberians to put the Country first void of vises that may have the propensity to derail the Country’s hard earned peace. The process has so far been peaceful with less stress and tension unlike October 10, 2023 general elections. Even though not much huge line unlikely the October 10, 2023 general elections but Liberians have been gradually and easily walking into their respective polling centers to vote the candidate of their choice as preliminary results are expected to be released soon by the National Elections Commission.
