UP Welcome Thomas Fallah
Deputy House Speaker Thomas P. Fallah, once labeled as ‘Thief Five’ has carpeted to the governing Unity Party (UP).
During the erstwhile regime of the opposition Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), some Unity Partisans referred to Fallah as ‘Thief-Five.’
Now that he has cross carpet to the UP, he warmly welcomed by the same partisans.
Fallah gained notoriety into new political space after breaking ties with the (CDC).
During CDC six years rule, he faced strong accusations from critics, who claimed he misused public resources, allegations he denied.
Now that the Boakai administration has embraced him (Fallah) as a key collaborator, marking a major shift in his political tone.
The man once criticized by the UP is now seen as a useful partner in pushing government’s agenda.
The move has sparked debates about the country shifting political alliances.
Pundits see the sudden embrace as clear hypocrisy.
