The Chairman of the Governing Unity Party (UP), Rev. Luther Tarpeh, has assured UP partisans, supporters, and Liberians that the administration is in the process of creating huge job opportunities that will benefit all. “Please, be assured that the President and the government is working assiduously every day to restore dignity to your lives, and to help you and your families navigate through the economic difficulties that we encountered,” he said during a press conference held at the party’s headquarters in Monrovia on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. Among numerous political parties in the 2023 general elections, according to Rev. Tarpeh, the Liberian people choose the Unity Party as an optimal alternative to address the pressing issues facing the country’s economy and other relevant sectors, stressing that the government is working hard to resolve the issues by employing methods best needed to advance the country to prosperity and development. However, the UP Chairman reassured Liberians that the UP Government will not let the Liberian people down because of the faith and belief they have placed in the party to lead the country for the next six years. He called on partisans across the country to remain calm as they put in place plans in the best interest of the country and its people. He lamented that the Government of Liberia is aware of the hardship in the country and that the administration is focused and keen to meet the demands of the citizens, alerting that they as party officials are closely aligning with Pres. Boakai to ensure the provision of huge opportunities for the young population. “The party and its standard bearer are deeply committed not only to partisans but Liberians as a whole who’ve been hoping that the government will lead our nation to national transformation”, Rev. Tarpeh noted. Additionally, he unveiled plans of the party and its hierarchy about reaching out to its partisans and Liberians across the country to extol and appreciate them for entrusting the party to state’s power for the next six years. “To the Liberians and our partisans outside of Monrovia, let me assure you that pretty soon the national chairman and some leaders of the party will embark on a national journey of thanking and appreciating you for electing Pres.
