Senator Moye Facilitates Free Surgeries By Amos Harris
Bong County Senator Prince K. Moye has facilitated the arrival of 11 Spanish doctors to provide “free surgical procedures” to residents of the county.
The initiative, aims at improving healthcare access for underprivileged citizens, is being carried out in collaboration with Doctors without Borders-Liberia.
Senator Moye underscored the urgent need for enhanced medical services in the county.
He said as a lawmaker, his duty extends beyond legislation to ensuring the well-being of his constituents.
“Healthcare is a fundamental right, and therefore, I am committed to making it accessible for our people, especially those who cannot afford critical medical procedures,” he he promised the locals.
The Spanish medical team, which arrived in the country recently, will be performing a range of life-saving surgeries at C.B. Dunbar Hospital in Gbarnga and in Palala, respectively.
This program is expected to bring relief to numerous individuals who have long faced financial barriers to receiving necessary medical treatment.
Residents have expressed gratitude for the initiative, describing it as a much-needed intervention in the county’s healthcare sector.
Healthcare authorities have meanwhile lauded the initiative, recognizing it as a major step in improving medical services in the county.
