Senator Brown Calls For National Reconciliation
Maryland County Senator, J. Gbleh-bo Brown, said National Reconciliation’ is vital to the development agenda of Liberia. The Maryland County Lawmaker stated that in the absence of genuine reconciliation, it would be very much impossible to move the country national development agenda forward. According to him, true reconciliation is very important for the forward match for Liberia’s smooth development drive. Senator Brown noted that Liberia’s 177th Independent Day orator’s speech mentioned a value of all national leaders of the country. Senator Brown made these statements on Friday, July 26, 2024 at programs marking the 177th Independent Day Celebration of Liberia in an interview with journalists at the Centennial Pavilion in Central Monrovia. The Maryland County Senator indicated that they as national leaders of the country need to see reasons to put aside the political bickering amongst themselves and begin to put the country national development agenda first. According to him, they as national leaders have very pivotal role to play in conducting the affairs of the country in a positive direction. He stressed the need for Liberians to hold together to move the development agenda of the country in a positive direction. “It’s now time for us to put behind us the bitterness and put Liberia first,” Senator Brown told Liberians. Elaborating further, the Maryland County Lawmakerappreciated the Almighty God for his re-election and the citizens. Senator Brown said he got re-elected by the citizens of Maryland County because of his workings at the legislature and in the county.
