Senate Security Chief Honored By: Fiona Benson Kollie

As efforts to further encourage Liberians in the public sector to attach seriousness to the job that they do as  public servants advance,  a group under the banner- Citizens United For Better Liberia in collaboration with the African Media Network of Liberia, on Monday honored the head of the Liberians Senate Security department,  Dyonisious Wessh for his recent efforts to improve the security sector of the Liberian Senate. According to the Executive Director of the group, Kesseley  Barzeh, the decision to honor Mr. Wessh came following a check and balance which according to him, is done on an annual basis by the  group, which he said is being done through a vetting process of public officials who  are currently contributing to the growth and development of the country. He further mentioned some of the contributions being made by Mr. Wesseh to the Senate Security Department as the ability to serve diligently to ensure security safe environment of the Liberians Senate, advocating for needed supports for security equipment that will make the department effective, efficient, vibrant motivation among others. At the same time, Mr. Barzeh also commended Mr. Wesseh for the hard work and encouraged him to do more for the betterment of the country and called on other Liberians in the public sector to also emulate the good and hard working example of Mr. Wesseh. Receiving the honor, Mr. Wesseh commended the head of the above organization for the honor, stating that the organization’s decision to honor him wasn’t a mistake, but a reason that will encourage him to continue the good work he has done over the years. He, at the same time, promised to continue to work in the interest of the Liberian Senate and the Liberian people at large for the betterment of the country.
