Residents Cry Mystery In Unidentified Man’s Death

Residents in Kakata, Margibi County have decried a mystery they suspected surrounds the death of an unidentified man.

The near decomposed corpse was discovered in the New Kakata Community, near the administrative building.

The discovery, reported at the weekend, has raised concerns among community dwellers, who have called on officers of the Liberia National Police (LNP), and other relevant authorities to investigate the circumstances surrounding the man’s death, and establish his identity.

Some residents said, an identification card was reportedly found on the deceased, the information contained on the card has not been independently verified, and authorities have not officially confirmed the identity of the man.

The discovery has generated concern within New Kakata, with residents emphasizing the need for a prompt, and transparent response from law enforcement.
