As part of efforts for the citizens of Bomi County electoral District #3 to access to good Roads Network, the lawmaker of the district, Honorable Sam P. Jallah has provided a yellow machine worth over US$95,000 intended to start connecting all of the roads across the district. The Bomi County lawmaker added that he is very much concern about connecting all of the roads across the district for his citizens. Representative Jallah stated that, when his citizens are with good roads network, will enable them smoothly move about with their farm product from farm to market roads as well as goods and services. The lawmaker explained that, of the US$95,000 that were used to buy the yellow machine, portion of the money came from his personal money while the balance amount was from the recast budget that was in the district account. According to the lawmaker the money that was provided by the government for every lawmaker to purchase their vehicle was that money head dup to some money that was in the district recast budget to buy the machine for the citizens. It is a law on the book at the National Legislature that lawmakers usually areprovidedUS$45,000 to buy their car and used for three years period. Representative Jallah informed the public that, he prefers buying yellow machines for his people to repair their roads rather taking that money to buy car for his personal use. “It is important that my citizens be with good road network and let me be without car,” the lawmaker stated.
