PYJ Endorses Koung Senatorial Bid

Representatives Jeremiah Kpan Koung has been endorsed by the Movement for Democracy and Reconstruction (MDR) of Senator Prince Johnson to contest the upcoming senatorial election

His endorsement followed a former primary held at the Ganta United Methodist Gymnasium in Ganta on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 where he was selected on a white ballot.

Senator Prince Johnson justified that Representative Koung has been humbled and committed to the MDR party since joining in 2017.

The MRD Political Leader boasted that he has no regret in naming and verging for Rep. Koung as the candidate to represent the party in the forthcoming special Senatorial election.

The influential Senator has at the same time promised to serve as the campaign chairman for Rep. Koung as part of his effort to consistently support the lawmaker’s senatorial bid.

Wasting no time, Senator Johnson called on other Nimbaians especially his followers to join him in making sure that Mr. Koung takes up the mantle as the next Senator of the county.

Representative Koung appreciated the Senator for pledging his unwavering support to his senatorial quest and promised to continually remain loyal to the Nimba County political godfather for as long as possible.

In another development Atty. Garrison D. Yealue, Jr. has also been endorsed by citizens of Zoegeh Statutory District to contest in the pending senatorial election in Nimba county.

Atty. Yealue is a stalwart of the People’s Unification Party (UPP) and a former Representative of electoral district #4 Nimba County.

The program which took place in Buutuo Nimba County was attended by scores of Nimba citizens from Gbelegeh, Tuah River, Tappita, and Yarwin Mensonnoh Districts.
