There Are Friends in Friends

0

Not all friends are true friends,

Not all friends are honest friends,

Not all friends are trustworthy friends,

Not all friends are godly friends,

Not all friends have hearts of gold,

Not all friends are honest, upright, and bold.

There are evil-minded friends among friends,

There are lip-service friends among friends,

There are drug-addicted friends among friends,

There are criminal-minded friends among friends,

There are truly demonic friends among friends,

There are friends who may lead you straight to hell.

Yet there are redeeming friends among friends,

There are good-advising friends among friends,

There are loving and holy friends among friends,

There are true caretaker friends among friends,

There are friends who genuinely care from the heart,

There are friends whose love comes sincerely from the heart.

So choose your friends with wisdom and care,

For every friend is not a friend to be trusted.

Some friends may lift you toward heaven,

While others may drag you toward destruction.

Among friends, there are friends within friends—

And wisdom must help you know the difference.
