My God differs greatly from yours,

My God is a miracle-making God.

Your god bears a deceptive rod,

While my God reigns with power abroad.

My God has unbelievable wings,

Your god is tangled in worldly things.

My God listens spiritually and hears,

Your god flies around creating fears.

My God is a God of peace and harmony,

Your god is a god of conflict and instability.

My God is a God of creation and construction,

Your god is a god of tragedy and destruction.

My God is kind-hearted and never plans evil,

Your god is wicked-minded, resembling the devil.

My God brings peace into every room,

Your god continually creates multiple dooms.

My God brings hope where darkness appears,

My God wipes away sorrow and fears.

My God is faithful, righteous, and true—

My God is not yours, and yours is not mine to pursue.
