Now I’m getting to know
The danger of being a fool,
The danger of neglecting school,
The danger of being spiritually blind,
The danger of being cruel and unkind,
The danger of dancing with the devil,
The danger of becoming completely evil,
The danger of rejecting the plain truth,
The danger of opposing every truth,
The danger of ignoring godly regulations,
The danger of harboring negative expectations,
The danger of raising astronomical hopes,
The danger of placing all trust in man,
The danger of revealing confidential plans,
The danger of giving up prematurely,
The danger of living carelessly and foolishly,
The danger of failing to place trust in God,
The danger of running with unguided speed,
The danger of refusing to uproot the weeds,
The danger of making the wrong decisions,
The danger of remaining in only one position,
The danger of constantly moving backward,
The danger of failing to move forward.
Thus, I’ve decided to avoid these dangers;
I’ve decided to be cautious of life’s strangers.
I’ve decided to read between the lines,
I’ve decided to think twice before I act at times.
I’ve decided to always use my third eye,
I’ve decided to keep a discerning mind nearby.
While trusting God to show me the right direction,
And guide my steps with wisdom and protection.
