Nurses in Charge Inc. Supports Phebe Hospital with Fuel Oil for Totota’s Tanker Explosion Burnt Victims

Nurses-In-Charge Liberia chapter, a prominent grassroots non-for-profit organization committed to uplifting and advocating for nurses worldwide has extended its initial support to Phebe Hospital in the wake of the recent gas tanker accident in Totota.  In light of the tragic incident and the resulting burn injuries suffered by numerous victims, Nurses-In-Charge Liberia on January 4 made a donation of one drum of fuel oil to the Phebe Hospital management. According to the organization executives, the contribution aims to boost the provision of electricity, quality healthcare services and attend to the needs of the affected patients ensuring that they receive the necessary medical attention and care during their recovery period. Nurses-In-Charge through Madam Neyor Karmue and others making delivery of the fuel oil expressed solidarity and also extended heartfelt prayers to all the victims of the fire accident. Neyor Karmue on behalf of the group disclosed that their thoughts are with the families who have lost their loved ones adding that the global body understands the pain and sorrow that the December 26 tragic event has brought upon the community in Totota. The group however extended its sincere gratitude to Phebe Hospital and its staff for their tireless dedication and hard work in providing care to the burn victims.  Taking delivery of the donation, Patrick Jackson on behalf of Phebe Medical Director lauded the worldwide professional organization for the contribution made so-far.He promised to use the presented fuel oil for the purpose intended.  As an organization, Nurses in Charge with its branches around the world, remains committed to supporting healthcare institutions, raising awareness of nursing challenges and promoting excellence in patient care.
