“My Defeat Ends Liberty Party Dominance In Grand Bassa -Kaipay Claim
Outgoing Liberty party senator of Grand Bassa Jonathan Kaipay Says his defeat brings to the end the dominance of the party in the county. Senator Kaipay among other senatorial candidates who contested for the senate seat in the county was defeated by Gbehzohngar Findley with a wide margin on October 10. Senator Gbehzohngar Findley won the election with over 55 thousand votes while Senator Jonathan Kaipay obtained over 9 thousand votes.
The incumbent senator took fourth place in the race with Jerome Russell being the least.
“In my mind, my defeat is the end of the party’s dominance in the county,” the outgoing senator maintained.However, he stressed the need for them to do a study that will prove whether the Liberty Party is still dominant. By: Zahn Dehdyugar
