Koinah Boosts Kpaai Clinic

By Samuel Flomo, Jr.

Residents of Kpaai Town, and surrounding communities have welcomed a major intervention from Bong County Electoral District #1 Representative Prince K. Koinah.

The latest followed Koinah’s financial, and material support to the clinic.

The intervention came on Saturday, September 5, during Rep. Koinah’s birthday celebration, and a fundraising program organized in support of the healthcare facility.

The fundraising initiative was to support trained traditional midwives, the Community Health Committee, and clinical staff assigned at the clinic, who continue to provide essential healthcare services despite limited resources, and logistical challenges.

Rep. Koinah served as guest speaker at the program, accompanied by lawmakers, community leaders, and other dignitaries.

Residents from Kpaai, and neighboring communities turned out in large numbers to participate in the event, and show support for efforts to strengthen healthcare delivery in the area.

In remarks, Koinah commended residents for taking ownership of the clinic, and working collectively to improve healthcare services in their communities.

He stressed the need for sustainable development depends heavily on a healthy population, emphasizing the need for government efforts to become complemented by active community participation, and local investment.

As part of his contribution, Koinah donated 25 plastic chairs to Kpaai Town for use during community meetings, public programs, and other gatherings.
