Montserrado County District #15 Representative, Abu B. Kamara, recently doubled his development agenda when he promised to deliver a modern school, and a 35-bedroom hospital.

Kamara made the statement when he engaged with his constituents on their challenges, ongoing development efforts, and the way forward during the tour of the district.

He said, his latest promises come under the shadow of the controversial collapse of a multi-million dollars storey building in Logan Town, which was under construction, when it collapsed.

The incident triggered official scrutiny, and raised questions about construction practices, regulatory compliance, supervision, and the quality of materials used on the project.

Kamara also revealed how the project had reportedly been under construction since 2018, rather than allowing the controversy to derail his development message, he assured residents that the affected school project will be rebuilt, and rededicated.

He meanwhile, assured residents that the reconstruction will be completed before the end of 2027.

“With the facility being transformed into a modern school equipped with the necessary facilities to provide young people with better learning environment.”

Kamara disclosed plans to facilitate the opening of a 35-bed hospital within the coming months.

He said, the proposed health facility will alter the healthcare landscape, and will become fully operational, and properly staffed, and equipped to provide the health needs for residents.
