Montserrado County District #9 Representative, Frank Saah Foko, has announced plans to take the government to court.
Foko alleged that his district has not received its allotted project funds.
He spoke during the official opening and dedication of a market in the Lakpazee Community.
Foko declared: “I am going to sue the government for not allocating my district’s project funds. Next Tuesday, I am taking the matter to court.”
He did not provide additional details about the planned legal action, or specify the amount of funding he believes is owed to the district.
His remarks came as residents and local officials gathered to celebrate the commissioning of the new market, a project expected to improve trading opportunities and support economic activities in the Lakpazee Community.
