President Joseph Nyuma Boakai has returned home early Wednesday evening via the Roberts International Airport in lower Margibi County following his trips to Asia. Speaking at an intercessory and Thanksgiving Service At the Effort Baptist Church In Paynesville to make his successful return to the Country, The Liberian leader reassured his people that hope is here. Outlining Development Package for Liberia, he disclosed the debt waiver of 6.6m by China,  13m loan  for agriculture equipment and massive renovation and expansion of State Radio , ELBC to ensure that it effectively covers the entire country. Unveiling other infrastructure packages, President Boakai named the connection of a modern Bridge from 12th Street in Sinkor to the Japanese Freeway.  He additionally disclosed a 60m for the implementation of an overhead bridge from the EJS Ministerial Complex in Congo Town to the SKD Boulevard respectively.  Others are the implementation of the Liberian national grid line modernization, constructing of a 75mega watts solar power plant in Bomi County.  According to him, China also promised to make interventions in other key sectors of the Country including Road, Energy and infrastructure development among others. The Chief Executive renewed his commitment to his people that his government is ready to build a new Liberia stating that a new Liberia is in the making.  “We await the responses from all these good promises”, he noted. President Boakai also praised Liberians for being resilient over the years despite scores of circumstances.  “Our doors are open to good and honest people,” he maintained.  In the wake of fruitful trips from China and Indonesia which the people are excited about; they are also hopeful of the practical implementation for the country in the coming months and years ahead.
