In a startling development, Highway Patrol officers have been caught exploiting drivers for bribes after a direct encounter with Police Inspector General Gregory Coleman. According to Liberia National Police – IG Coleman, the incident unfolded earlier this afternoon while traveling to Nimba. “I saw something really concerning. Some highway patrol officers were bothering drivers and taking bribes. This is a clear sign of some of the key issues we need to tackle to keep our standards high,” Coleman stated.
