ECOWAS Commission Delegates In Liberia For Gender Programs
The ECOWAS Commission delegation led by Madam Professor Fatou SOW SARR, Commissioner Human Development and Social Affairs arrived in Liberia on Tuesday August 27, 2024, for a four-day official visit to launch the ECOWAS Gender programs. The Commissioner Human Development and Social Affairs is accompanied by other officials along with Director of ECOWAS Gender and Development Center, Madam Sandra Oulate Fattoh. While in Liberia, Madam Professor Fatou SOW SARR along with the Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Gbeme Horace Kollie and Ministry of Health, Dr. Louise Kpoto, will launch the ECOWAS Gender Program On Thursday, August 29, 2024 at10am at the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Ministerial Complex in Oldest Congo Town. Additionally, she will hold a high level relevant consultation with government officials, meet fistula survival and the girls of Excellent with a field visit to the Phebe Hospital Fistula Program to determine the need for future funding.
