The Central Agricultural Research Institute (CARI) has commenced a research seminar at its office in Suakoko, Bong County.
The seminar is intended to hear from agriculture researchers on latest technologies that they have discovered to be beneficial to farmers.
The exercise is characterized by the presentation of several agriculture research works.
At the official opening on Tuesday, September 1, CARI Director General, Arthur Bob Karnuah said, defined the seminar as being essential to farmers, specifically those that directly benefiting from research technologies.
By that, Karnuah wants CARI to ensure that its mandate be fully executed to promote the ARREST Agenda.
He spoke of the critical role of CARI in agriculture productivity.
The seminar will end on Friday, September 4.
Dr. Karnuah added that his administration will not renege on his vision of putting CARI on the map of renowned agriculture research institutes in the sub region.
CARI is the nation’s only agriculture research institute that has a mandate of executing applied, and adaptive research.
