Boakai Delivers On 10,000 Youth Digital Training Program -THOUSANDS OF YOUTHS TO EARN CERTIFICATES FROM THE LIBERIA DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION PROJECT

The Management of the Liberia Digital Transformation Project is expected to graduate over ten thousand students; especially unskilled youths after completing an intensive two-week long course. The project is being organized by the Liberia Telecommunication Authority (LTA), Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Liberia Post and Telecommunications (LPT) in collaboration with international partners. It can be recalled that President Joseph Nyuma Boakai accepted the proposal to sponsor the establishment of the Liberia Digital Transformation Project to provide greater opportunities for thousands of Liberian youths in getting new skills training in Digital Technology such as e-commerce software development Digital Marketing, Introduction to Computer Science and IT Management, among other significant courses to be achieved. These are concerns heightened by President Boakai in the establishment of the Digital Training Program. The Liberia Digital Transformation Plan is aimed at training 5,000 youths across the country in the next 6 years under the leadership of President Boakai. As engagements in the Digital Training Program for 10,000 youths emerge, hundreds of young people have reportedly turned out to begin the process of achieving knowledge and understanding of Digital Technology that will provide a new beginning for the youthful generation of Liberia.  Meanwhile, beneficiaries have extended gratitude to President Boakai’s Administration for pulling resources to enable them benefit from a two-week nonstop intensive Digital Transformation Training Project for young people in the country. This project allows Liberian youths to rebuild their skills through technology and innovation within their communities during this challenging process.  According to the organizers, the President is expected to present certificates to hundreds of candidates who participated in the two-week courses organized by the Liberia Digital Transformation Project.
