I salute the salutable,
I salute the honorable,
I salute men who are desirable,
I salute men who are patriotic,
I salute men who are guided by vision,
I salute men who are driven by mission,
I salute men who are rich in wisdom,
I salute men with godly hearts,
I salute men who are trustworthy,
I salute men who are dependable,
I salute men who are true dreamers.
My light in darkness, I salute you.
My common sense, I salute you.
My trustworthy friends, I salute you.
My fellow poets and literary colleagues, I salute you.
Above all, I salute my God,
Who reigns supreme above all.
He remains standing ever tall,
The greatest of all, beyond compare.
