The Thompson Development Alliance (TDA) has resumed its sixth Students Internship Program, committing L$2 million toward practical training opportunities for students from seven high schools in the Salala School District.
The initiative is to provide students with hands-on experience, and expose them to practical skills that can complement their classroom education, and better prepare them for future academic, and professional opportunities.
Students participating in the program are currently undergoing practical training at various institutions in Lower Bong County, where they are gaining exposure to different work environments, and learning experiences.
The resumption of the program represents another major youth-focused initiative by TDA, which has continued to promote educational, and skills-development opportunities for students within the Salala area.
The program is being implemented under the leadership of William Telebo Thompson, Chief Executive Officer of the Thompson Development Alliance, and a representative hopeful for Bong County Electoral District #6.
TDA’s L$2 million investment places emphasis on practical education, giving participating students an opportunity to acquire skills, and experience that may prove valuable beyond their secondary education.
The program brings together students from seven high schools within the Salala School District, expanding access to practical learning for young people from different communities.
