MNG Gold Executive Greases Agric Sector

The Bong County Environmental School Incorporated (BCESI) has recognized supports from MNG Gold Liberia Executive Director, Cem Aktay.

Aktay’s donated cash and materials to BCESI tree-planting initiative to promote environmental protection and climate resilience.

The institution says, the contribution from Mr. Aktay represents a significant boost to its efforts to create greener learning environments, restore damaged facilities, and encourage communities to embrace environmental conservation.

In a press release BCESI issued under the signature of it program director, Jeremiah K. Solomon, the institute praised Aktay for his to purchase and plant trees as part of its environmental education and sustainability program.

Solomon described the donation as a timely intervention, “because it comes when the institution has worked to recover from the effects of severe storm damage that affected two of its educational facilities.

The trees will be planted in Doloken Gboyeh High School courtyard, and the institution’s newly established environmental model school, where they are expected to improve the surroundings, promote environmental awareness, and provide students with practical lessons on conservation.
