Where I find myself is very dark
Where I find myself has many sharks.

Where I find myself faces constant attack
Where I find myself has evil dogs that bark
Where I find myself often leaves painful marks
Where I find myself has men with grudges
Where I find myself has many wicked judges
Where I find myself is seldom a peaceful place,
Where I find myself tests faith and grace
Where I find myself is a breeding ground for evil
Where I find myself is ruled by the devil
Where I find myself provides no everlasting life
Where I find myself is filled with strife
Where I find myself loves only worldly gain
Where I find myself often celebrates pain
Where I find myself hates the unworldly ones
Where I find myself opposes righteous sons
Where I find myself is satanically regularized
Where I find myself is satanically organized
Where I find myself hardly hears joyful noise,
Where I find myself destroys many hopes and joys
Where I find myself is engrossed in deathly fear,
Where I find myself sheds many a tear
Where I find myself is a base of thugs and drugs
Where I find myself offers deceptive hugs
Where I find myself often rewards deception
Where I find myself promotes moral corruption
Yet where I find myself shall not define me
For God’s enduring light continues to guide me
Though darkness surrounds me on every side
In the strength of my faith I shall always abide
I will rise above hatred, fear, and despair
For God’s mighty presence is everywhere
I will overcome every obstacle I encounter
For truth and righteousness shall set me free
Where I find myself may be troubled today
But I believe a brighter dawn is on its way
Where I find myself may be hostile and grim
Yet my hope remains firmly anchored in Him
